Electric driven vibration hammer for construction of Qingshan Yangtze River Bridge in Wuhan

The Qingshan Yangtze River Bridge in Wuhan is the eleventh Yangtze River bridge in Wuhan, with a cable-stayed bridge span ranking sixth in the world. It is an important passage through the Yangtze River for the Wuhan Fourth Ring Road. The bridge is located on the south bank about 1 kilometer downstream of the Wugang Foreign Trade Port, and on the north bank between Hualou Street and Shakou Village, close to Huangpi District. The bridge is constructed according to the standard of a two-way 8-lane expressway, with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. The entire line is covered by bridges, with a bridge deck width of 41 to 46 meters. The estimated total investment is 5.148 billion yuan. The construction of the bridge has already started.

Recently, steel casing insertion work was carried out for the Qingshan Yangtze River Bridge in Wuhan. This time, the diameter of the steel casing is 3 meters, the length is 42 meters, and the weight is 60 tons, making it a good diameter long steel casing for drilling on the Yangtze River. In this project, a steel casing was directly inserted and driven without a guide frame, and an adjustable torque vibration hammer was used to vibrate and sink vertically to within 0.4%, meeting the standards of a type of bored pile.
