Recently, our company's EP1600 resonance free vibration hammer has successfully started construction on the Xuwen offshore wind power project in Zhanjiang. The foundation project of the offshore wind power booster station platform has been successfully constructed with inclined piles at an angle of 8 degrees. Pile diameter 1800mm, weight 145t, pile length 86m.
The Guotou Zhanjiang Xuwen Offshore Wind Power Construction Project officially started construction in early 2021, located in Donghai, Jinhe Town, Xuwen County, Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province. The nearest point of the site is 20 kilometers away from the land reserve in Jinhe Town, and the farthest point is 35 kilometers away from the land reserve.
Although the project was successfully completed, many problems were encountered during the pre sinking process. Firstly, time is tight and tasks are heavy; In order to save construction time and strive to complete the window period in one go, the construction party initially plans to use an impact hammer to directly sink the piles. However, due to the steep slope of steel pipe piles, the longer the pile length, the thinner the wall thickness. If an impact hammer is used, the pile needs to be decoupled, so the safety factor will be greatly reduced, and the impact hammer itself will be heavier. Forcefully sinking piles can easily cause deformation and bending of steel pipe piles, which does not meet construction requirements and results in certain losses. So the project department searched for our company from various sources in society. After multiple discussions on technical solutions, both parties ultimately decided to use the EP1600 vibration free hammer lifting method to directly sink the pile and complete the arduous task.
The final plan is finalized, followed by intensive preparation work such as meetings, coordination, delivery, on-site assembly and debugging. With the joint efforts of everyone on site, according to the pre planned plan, the four inclined piles were successfully sunk into the sea, and the task was completed. Our company has also received recognition and praise from the leaders of the project department and various parties.
